The moat is now a park in the shade of the defence wall and an interesting way to and from the other end of the Old Town, the New Town or the Acropolis.
See the fortresses above you, explore the tunnels and secret passages used by the defenders during the seiges. Approximately 2,2 km long, it is lovely for walking, running or cycling.
