It has been the cultural and art centre of the known world during the Hellenistic years 323 - 31 BC. Magnificent buildings and thousans of statues adorned the hill.
Despite earthquakes and invaders having taken their toll, it is a beautiful place to visit.
TOP of the HILL: beautiful view & sunset. Most probable Colossus location.
